Both Lovebirbs and AniBeanz were part of my other company, but Fictura Books has now taken them over. Both come with new illustrations and stories.
Lovebirbs is mainly informational and has its own blog. It started when I got my lovebird Apache and couldn't find a website with a focus on lovebirds. More about Apache's story can be found on the blog.
The focus of Lovebirbs will remain informational, so if you want to know more about keeping lovebirds, take a look at the website.
AniBeanz started as a simple drawing of a dog with a bean-shaped body. I thought this was such a funny concept that I started drawing more animals like this. At the time, there was no story attached to it, but that has changed in the meantime. For example, I have Matthew the hamster, Albert the llama, Pepper the barn owl and Jade the budgerigar. They all live in the same world, but each have their own unique stories. For now, the plan is to publish a number of stories from this next year. I don't know which ones yet, because I have a lot of them and not enough time to work on everything.
Of course, Boontje will not be forgotten. I am working on a next adventure of my mascot, but there are many other things that are also happening, so for now I have not set a deadline.
